QUEEN STREET MOTOR TRAFFIC.
Sir, —I agree With your correspondents that a severs check should be placed upoif the excessive speed of motor-cars in such a crowded street as Queen Street and more especially on the speed crossing the footways. Cars should also be prevented from making sudden turns in Queen Street except at the corners of streets where oni? expects and looks' out for them. The formation of a pedestrians' association might be of value in impressing upon motorists the fact that they do not own tho streets and cannot do as they like G. '
