PAY OF THE POLICE.
REFUSAL TO REDUCE. ADELAIDE COURT APPLICATION. Tn the Industrial Court at. Adelaide on December 23, Mr. President. Kelly refused the application of the Public Service Cornmissioncr that tlie pay of the police be reduced by 20 per cent., so as to make it conform with the reduced wages in otnrr branches of the Public Service. The hearing of an alternative claim that tne metropolitan police pay be reduced by the same amount as the living wage has been reduced y.-as adjourned.
