TOURIST SIDE IN BRITAIN. ANSWER TO COMMENTS. [I'RO.NI OUft OWN COItRBSrONItENT.] LONDON. Nov. '2l. It has come to the notice of the High Commissioner in London that one or two New Zealaiulers who have seen the produce exhibitions under the. aegis of the New Zealand Government and that of the produce boards iu Great Ihitain. have rather the opinion that something might be done to push the tourist side of the Dominion's attractions at those fixtures. As a matter of fact, this is done oil every occasion. At some of the produce exhibitions there are actual tourist sections. At the Royal Agricultural Show the whole New Zealand exhibit has for the past three years been entirely devoted to n tourist and sporting display, and with excellent results so far as inquiries are concerned. Some of the exhibitions in which New Zealand participates, however. are under the auspices of the Empire Marketing Hoard, and it lias boon the desire of the board that only produce should be included in its displays.
