AGRICULTURE IN BRITAIN. BENEFITS OF WHEAT QUOTA. LONDON, Dec. 4. The agricultural editor of the Daily Telegraph states that farmers anticipate an all-round improvement in industry when the wheat quota operates, including a progressive increase in the Home and Empire wheat quotas, an increase in arable cultivation, assistance in livestock breeding, higher agricultural wages, the return of thousands of workers to the land and a revival in fresh-killed meat production. It is expected that a special Cabinet sub-committee will begin discussion on Tuesday regarding the Dominion wheat, quota. »
