BRAIN'S COLLEGE.

The pupils of Brain's Commercial College achieved outstanding success in the. Government short hand-typists' examinations. Of the 36 candidates who were presented in the senior division, 31 passed, while in (lie junior division 67 out of 72 were successful. Miss R. V. I. Daniels won first place for Auckland in the senior section, and Miss E. J. West, also a pupil of Brain's College, was the most successful junior candidate in Auckland. Tho annual prize-giving ceremony of the college will be held in the Town Hall concert chamber on December 17.
