RICE CROP IN BURMA.
SMALL EFFECT OF REVOLT. British Wireless. RUGBY, Oct. 17. A message from Rangoon states that, in spito of fears in some quarters that the revolt in Burma -would seriously interfere with the rice crop, it is only 2 per cent, less than last year's estimate, and onlv 4 per cent, less than was indicated by last year's actual sowing. The proportion of the crop destroyed by the weather is smaller than usual.
