BOYCOTT BY FARMERS.
HIGH COST OF IMPLEMENTS. WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ACTION. PERTH, Oct. 17. The primary producers' organisations have decided to boycott galvanised iron, wire netting and farming implements and tools as a protest against prices, which have been increased as q result of the Federal Government's protective policy. It is claimed that the extra cost of developing a fr.rm of 1000 acres now, compared with 1913, is about £I4OO, which is wholly due to the excessive customs taxation.
