BRITISH INDUSTRIES FAIR, FIXTURE FOR NEXT YEARThe stimulus given to inter-Empire trade by recent economic developments in* Britain makes the forthcoming British Industries Fair of more interest and importance than ever, The fair will be held iu London and Birmingham from February t 22 to March 5. 1932. The fair will really be a ' 1 show window " for all the-leading British manufactures, and visitors will be able to make virtually an " industrial tour " of Great -Britain and Ireland in the space of a week or so. Every class of merchandise will be represented, and it is safe t.o say that practically any New Zealand trader and importer would find the round trip Home, including the British Industries Fair, a splendid investment. Next year, for the first time, there will be a special section, at the V\hite City, London, devoted to the British textile industries, which will introduce to tfo® world's textile buyers a mors compreheniive and representative array of British textile goods than has ever before been presented. It will embrace cotton,- wool, silk, artificial silk, and linen fabrics, ana made-up goods. For the. convenience or buyers special sections have been designed exclusively tor the display of the products of the different branches, thus providing the opportunitv o; an intensive inspection of all grades of fabrics in any single trade in the minimum of time. Leading producers will be showing new ranges, especially prepared for the exhibition, in fashion fabrics, made-up garments, piece-goods, shirtings and other lines.
