MR. GANDHI'S TRIP.
VISIT TO MANCHESTER. British Wireless. KUOBY. Sept,. Mr. Gandhi's departure from London for ii brief visit to .Lancashire excited little notice. At Wilmslow Junction, near Manchester, a small crowd gathered, hut Mr. Gandhi did not leave his carriage, which remained outside the station platform. 311\ Gandhi came to ihe window ot the carriage, and smilingly greeted the crowd of about 100 people who gathered on the station at Manchester, through which his train passed. It was late at night when his host received him in Darwen.
