The 1931 SAILOR How totally different from the set shapes known by the name of " Sailor " in former years. Crowns may be shallow, guttered, square or rounded. Brims assume the most flattering curves, as they turn up or down to suit individual types. Then, again, the Coarser Plaits are so delightfully informal and becoming. In multicolourings with blue predominating, and a wide band of blue Satin Ribbon to tone —Price 25/6. M22—A Sailor of the wider brim type, with bandeau. It is of Ramie Straw. White with black and brown. The bandeau, piping round underbrim, and bow is of brown patent leather—32/6. 1 3 ( ■»" Ml9—The tip-tilted brim is a feature of this small Sailor in Ramie and Racello Straws. In colour mixtures of green, fawn and brown. Band of gros grain ribbon in fawn and two tones of green, terminating in three bows at back. The same ribbon is also seen on the edge of underbrim—--29/6. M24——ln this small but very useful Sailor of coarse Chip Straw, the brim is slightly lifted on to crown. In colours of green and white, and trimmed with two-tone green ribbon drawn through a metal and leather novelty at back—2s/6. M23—A very smart version of the Bandeau Sailor in black and natural Fancy Straw., The shallow square crown is very new, and black patent leather is used as trimming.
