[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. Interest in the potato market is disappearing now that the season is nearing the close. Beyond some movement in fowlwheat there lias been little to engage the attention of the trade. Potatoes have slipped back to the price that ruled in the early part of the month. Whites are now quoted at 32s 6d a ton f.0.b., or 15s a ton to farmers, and Dakotas are now worth 37s 6d a ton f.o.b. There is a dearth of inquiry from the North. Fowlwheat shows no change in price. Some inquiry has developed for milling wheat, but good milling is difficult to obtain. Oats, chaff and seeds are attracting no interest.
