Mr. F. Driller, Mr. H. Scrimshaw and Mr. F. A. Wedde, of Wellington, and Mr. W. Fraser and Mr. A. E. Williamson, of Rotorua, are at the Royal Hotel.
Second-Lieutenants G. M." Birdsall, W. W. Buttimore, A. Morrison, T. W. Shanks and H. N. Waddington, of the Auckland Mounted Rifles, have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
Mr. H. G.. Schneideman, of Christchurch, Mr. M. Johnson, of Wellington, Mr. A. Harrop, of Dannevirke, and Mr. E. A. Farmer, Mr. E. Brown and Mr. H. L. Anderson, of Matata, are at the Central Hotel.
Mr. W. Wallace, hospital boards' representative on the Nurses' and Midwives' Registration Board, left last evening to attend a meeting of the board in Wellington. Ho will return to Auckland on Wednesday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. R. N. McCullougb, of Christchurch, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. J. Baker, of Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. L. Buddie, of Whakatane, and Mr. ard Mrs. .T. Walker, of Te Awamutu, are at the Central Hotel.
