THE CENTENARY MEETING. MESSAGE FROM THE KING. LONDON. Sept. 24. King George has sent the following message to the British Association on the occasion of its centenary meeting, over which General J. C. Smuts will preside: — " Although we live in times fraught with difficulties, scientific progress does not slacken. The roll of your members is bright with names which the world will not forget."
