A NEW USE FOR POTATOES.

Cold potatoes used instead of soap cleanse the hands well and make the skin soft and smooth. The water in which potatoes have been boiled is excellent for sponging dirt out of silk. Potato water made by grating a potato into ahout half a pint of cold water and afterwards straining it is splendid for cleansing.
