ROTORUA.
'A concert was given to the patients It the sanatorium on Monday evening by members of the St. Luke's Girls' Club under the auspices of the Rotorua Women's Club, who entertain the patients with a concert each month. Two of the patients also contributed items to the programme. At the conclusion of the evening Mrs. I. M. Davidson, president of the Women's Club, thanked the performers for their en'ertainment. A vote >of thanks was also passed by one of the patients on their behalf. Both patient and performers were the guests of the Women's Club at supper. Pomt-10-Point. The Ko'.orca Hunt Club's first point-to-point steeplechase and gymkhana meeting was held at Arawa Park on Wednesday. In spite of the cold and showery weather, there was a very large attendance and the meeting was most success{uF ' Among the lady riders were:— Mrs. R. C. Smith (Te Xgae), Mrs. Ranstead (Cambridge;, Mrs. Ba'eman (Morrinsville), Mrs. McKenzie (Whakatane), Mrs. Millett, Miss Joan Bertram and Miss Betty Bertram (Rotorua). Included among those present were:—Mrs. H. Bertram, Mrs. T. Jackson, Mrs. Wackrow, Mrs. Bayfield. Mrs. Bunvard. Mrs. M. Carr, Mrs. Meredith, Mrs". E. La Trobe Hill. Mrs. E. Guy. Mrs. T. Kelly, Mrs. Redhead, Mrs. B. B. Wood (Wellington), Mrs. Hitchcock. Mrs. Mansoc, Mrs. J. Shcrriff, Mrs. S. Hay, Mrs. K. Buchanan (Matamata), Mrs. R. Gardner, Mrs. Johnson. Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. J. Herrold, Miss A. Brown (Cambridge), Mrs. Troughton Clark, Mrs. Pierce, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. A. Walker, Miss Mary Bertram, Miss Evans, Miss Corlett, Misses Meredith, Miss Mitchell, Miss Snodgrass, Miss Maher, Miss Lasenby, Miss A. Brackebush, Misses Branson. Mrs. J. D. 0. Duncan and Mrs. K. MeCorznick,. oi Hinemoa Street, are spending * holiday at Mount Maunganui, Tauranga. Miss Street, of Auckland, passed through Rotorua on Wednesday to Gisborne, where she wiil spend a month's holiday. Mrs. B. B. Wood, ot Wellington, is visiting Rotorua and is a guest at Prince's Gate. Mrs. F. Wilkie, of Pukaki Street, left on Monday to spend a week in New Plymouth. Mrs. J. D. Davys, of Pukuatua Street, left by motor on Thursday for Auckland, en route for Sydney. Mrs. Cockburn-Hood and Miss E. Gerritzen, of Masterton, are visiting Rotorua and have taken Miss A. French's house in Arawa Street for a few weeks Mrs. St. Clair and the Misses St. Clair af e spending a holiday at Mount MaungaDQ i, Tauranga.
