TENNIS ON SUNDAY.
The movement to permit Sunday tennis on Wilding Park, Christchurch, is being revived. Probably a notice of motion to rescind the present prohibiting it will be given shortly. Twice previously efforts have been made to open the park to all-the-week play, but without success This season some of the that was responsible for the collapse of the previous attempts will not be in evidence, anil the champions of the cause of Sunday play are reported to be carrying out extensive canvassing to secure support for tlieir movement.
