OTAHUHU GOLF CLUB.
The committee of the Otahuhu Golf Club arranged a most enjoyable social evening in the Grange Hall on Wednesday. Dancing interspersed with musical items was thoroughly enjoyed by the 70 guests present. Dance music was supplied by Mrs. Gillies' orchestra (Misses Burnside, Seal, G. and A. Fitness and Mr. Halstead) and vocal items bv Messr3. Reader, Nicholls, Mullins and Williams. The accompanists were Mesdames Gillies, McNeeley and Miss Seal. Character songs by Mr. Reynold and a sketch on " Golf," given by Misses L. Hunter, M. McFarlane and M. Bryant arirj, Mr. Burton supplied the humorous side of the programme. The bridge party held in the clubhouse resulted in Mr. and Mrs. Cuthforth winning .1 trophy presented by Mrs. S. W. House.
