THEATRICAL PRODUCTION. " The Gipsy Hover," a musical comedy in tluen arts, was presented by flio How irk and l'akuranga Musical Society in the Howick Picliiro Tlieat.ro 011 Tuesday evening. '1 lie entertainment was of a high standard, a special feature being ballet dances arranged by Miss Cecil Hall. • The society was fortunate in having the Sri vices ol Mr. Norman Day and Madame Cora Melvin (Mrs. Day), whose extensive experience proved invaluable to the performers during rehearsals. Others who assisted in making the production a success were 'Mrs. Walter Amiss, sectelary of the society, Mrs. J. M. Pevrreaux, Miss Morgan and Mr. .J. Hughes. f lhe proceeds of the entertainment are to be donated to funds for local improvements.
