CONTROL OF CABARETS.
ATTITUDE OF ALLIANCE. The New Zealand Alliance has decided to make representations to the Auckland City Council, urging more care in the issue of licences for dance halls and cabarets. The alliance also seeks a closer supervision of dances to check drinking. It is further desired that all cabarets should close at midnight on Saturdays.
