REVOLT AGAINST LANG.
CROWDED SYDNEY MEETING. " NEW GUARD'S " ACTIVITIES. SYDNEY, Sept. 17. There was a storm of applause in the crowded Town Hall when the president of the "New Guard," Mr. Eric Campbell, defied anyone, "particularly the Socialistic Government of this State," to interfere in any way with the organisation. Mr. Campbell advocated that every centre in New South Wales should hold meetings simultaneously, and carry a resolution asking the Governor, Sir Philip Game, to remove tho Lang Government. The "New Guard" would protect the meetings. Hundreds of peoplo wero unable to enter tho hall, admission to which was by ticket only. A close scrutiny was made of all persons entering.
