DROWNED IN STREAM.
FATE OF SMALL BOY. [JJY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAUMARUNUI, Thursday. An inquest concerning tlio death of Roy Phillip Murdock, aged 2J years, who was found drowned in the .Taringaputu Stream at Terena on Tuesday afternoon, was held before the coroner, Mr. A. S. Laird. Tlio child's mother said she missed her infant about. 3 p.m., and organised' a search party. Peter Pino said lie searched the TavingnIin111 Stream and recovered the child's body about 5 p.m. The stream was narrow and deep and the body was floating near a toitoi bush. A verdict of accidentally drowned vu returned.
