PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING.
BOUT ENDS DRAMATICALLY. ELLIOT RENDERED UNCONSCIOUS. [nr TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WANGAJTUI, Thursday. There was a dramatic ending to the professional wrestling bout between Pencheff and Elliot this evening. Elliot, in attempting a flying tackle in the seventh round, was beaten by a sidestep and he landed on the boards, striking his head. He lay insensible as the referee counted him out. Prior to that, the bout produced hard wrestling. Pencheff secured a fall in the third round with a body scissors. Elliot won the fifth round with a crucifix and prospects for the seventh round were quite good when Elliot made the move which tendered him unconscious and gave Pencheff the bout.
