MISS MERCEDES GLEITZE. VISIT TO UNITED STATES. NEW YORK, Sept. G. Miss Mercedes Gleitze (Mrs. Carey), the famous British endurance swimmer, who recently visited New Zealand and Australia, states that England and Australia offer her no further water hazards. She is now in New York with her husband. She is seeking "unconquerable" waters in which to achieve new triumphs, and then will settle down.
