ARCHBISHOP STONED.
ASSAULT BY ORANGEMEN. INCIDENT AT LIVERPOOL. LONDON, Sept. 13. Orangemen who wct'o demonstrating at a stone-laying ceremony at Edge Hill, Liverpool, threw stones at Dr. Downey, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Liverpool. The stones struck onlookers, including a Girl Guide, who was hit heavily on the head. She stood at attention until Dr> Downey bad passed, and then collapsed.
