LEAGUE OF NATIONS ESSAY.
AWARDS TO CHILDREN. Tho Auckland' branch of tho League of Nations Union recently offered two prizes for an essay on "What I Know About the League of Nations," to be competed for by members of the Children's League. The first prize has been won by Dudley G. Cole, of Kaitieke, Raurimu, and the second by Joan Hill, of Kumeu. Essays deserving of mention were written by Madge Dixie, Mataora Valley; Rogers Nay lor, Nelson; Irene Clotworthy, Hikutaia; and Marion Richardson, Remuera. Mr. W. T. G. Airoy was tho judge.
