INFLUENZA. SERIOUS MENACE. There has been a slight epidemic of influenza in various parts of the Dominion during tho past few weeks. Medical authorities state that although the visitation is uf a mild type, the malady could, given the necessary conditions of wet arid cold, easily develop into a more serious form. Due precautions, therefore, should bo taken. In the case of a high temperaturo it is advisable to remain in bed until the fever has cone, and where the symptoms cause anxiety to immediately call in medical aid.
