FROZEN MEAT. (Received September 13, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 12. The weekly quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of wholesale quantities of carcases of mutton or lamb, or of quarters of beef delivered to Smithfield market and/or London stores. They are compiled by the Quotations Committee, Smithfield. To arrive at the equivalent ex ship values, one farthing per pound should be deducted from the prices quoted below. WAIHOU STOCK SALE. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report:—At Waihou stock sale on Friday only a piedium yarding of cattle came forward. Beef sold at usual ruling rates, with two-year-old heifers and younc empty sound cows in Kood demand. Only a -.mall entry of dairy cattle was penned, nnd lacked quality. A few pens of sheep sold at lafe rates A total of 500 pigs of nil classes came forward, consisting mainly of storeß and wearers.
