WOMAN SOLICITOR.
ADMITTED TO PRACTICE. Unusual interest attached to the admission of Miss Mary Catherine Enright yesterday to practice as a solicitor of Supremo Coiyt, as it is more than ten years since the last woman was admitted in Auckland. It is there are only two women solicitors in active practice in t\ie city. The last to he admitted here was Miss Rebecca Fallot, who was received into the profession in March, 1921. Miss Enright was admitted yesterday by Mr. Justice Herdmari on the motion o Mr. G. P. Finlav, to v.-hose staff she has been attached for the past 18 months. Miss Enright is a daughter of Mr. T. Carr Enright, of Devonport, and studied at tiio .Auckland Girls' Grammar School an afterwards at the University College. Several other young women who hp v ® studied law also intend to make application for admission.
