SCHOOLBOY'S DEATH.

PUSHED WHILE AT PLAY. FRACTURE OF THE SKULL. A verdict, that Lawrence Savill died as the result of a fractured skull when he was accidentally pushed by another boy when playing was returned at the inquest into the boy's death, which was concluded before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., coroner, in Christchurch. The boy, who was aged nine, and resided with his parents in Riccarton, died in the Christchurch Hospital on August 20. fallowing a fall at the Harewood School on August 17 Neil McDonald, a pupil at the Harewood School, said that Savill was playing marbles in the playground in the lunch hour on August 17. Witness approached, and Savill, thinking that ho was going to take one of his marbles, went to push witness. Witness gave Savill a "shove," and he fell back, hitting his head on the ground.
