FINANCES OF FRANCE.
DEFICIT OF BUDGET. ESTIMATE OF £48,000,000. LONDON, August 31. The Paris correspondent of the Manchester Guardian states that France, like England, is faced with a Budget deficit which is estimated at £48,000,000, owing to the diminution in revenue from taxation and the suspension of the German annuity
