The Body Corporate called the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of Auckland and the Auckland City Council. having obtained the necessary Statutory consent of tho Local Government Loans Board, hereby give notice in pursuance of Section 10 of The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926. (1) That the purpose for which the Loan is required is the provision of drainage in tho Tamaki District of tho City of Auckland. (2) That, the Auckland City Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such works out of the ordinary revenue of the City, proposes to raise a Special Loan of £50,000 and to be known as tho Tamaki District (City of Auckland) Drainage Loan, 1931. (3) That the proposed Security for the repayment of such Loan shall be a Special Rate of One-third of One Penny (l-3d) in tho pound upon the annual value of all rateable property in the City of Auckland. (•1) That the Auckland City Council proposes to make the Loan repayable at the end of a term which shall not exceed 36J years from the date of issue, and proposes to make provision for the payment of a .Sinking Fund of not less than 1 per centum per annum. (5) That the Auckland City Council proposes to pay out of such Loan, such costs, charges and expenses as the Auckland City Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection v.-ith such Loan, but not the Interest or Sinking Fund thereon.
