Hamilton. —The final game in the Hamilton Rugby Union'* club competitions for the Clarke Cup was played at Rugby Park in fine weather. Marist defeating Technical Old Boys faj 11 points to 0. Neither side had scored at the interval. but early in the second spell W, Cassiay, after a Site run, dived across for Murisi's first try. Taumarunui.—The final of the cup competition was played in fine weather and before a very large attendance. After a strenuous game, in which Athletic had the ascendancy almost throughout. Te Awamutu.—Playing for the Insurance Cup (senior grade). Rovers and Waikeria cacb had a try to their credit when time was up. and an extra ten minutes was played, curing which Pollard kicked a field goal for Rovers, finis winning the cup. AUCKLAND SECOND TEAM. VICTORY OVER KAIPARA. A fast and interesting game was seen when the Auckland B representative team played the Kaipara representatives at Helensvilie on Saturday. The Auckland team won by a large margin, the final scores being:—Auckland, 15: Kaipara, 3. At the outset Kaipara attacked and were unlucky not to score, only so.lid work by the Auckland forwards keeping them out. Auckland were penalised for a scrum infringement and C. Keane kicked a good goal with a long kick. Auckland then opened up tne game and from a passing rush Cornihwaite scored, Butler's kick being' unsuccessful.
