EAST COAST ROAD.
METALLING CLAY GAP.
REQUEST BY SETTLERS
A request for the metalling of the clav gap on the East Coast Road, a mile south of Silverdale, has been made by the East Pukeatua Ratepayers' Association to the Waitemata County Council. The association delegates stated that there were 20 settlers aSected, as the road was impassable in wet weather,. Members of the council promised to 0 their best to help the settlers. The member for the riding, Mr. Poynton? sai he would give this part of the riding his full attention.
