(lieceived August 25. 1.15 a.m.) SOUTHEXD-ON-SEA, August 24. The match between the New Zealand cricketers and Essex was resumed to-day. The visitors on Saturday had made 360 for eight wickets when stumps were drawn. When play was resumed this morning the visitors took their score to 412. Essex batted for a short time before luncheon and lost three wickets for 45 runs. Details of the scores are as follows: — NEW ZEALAND.—First Innings.
