SCHNEIDER CUP RACE.

FRENCH AND ITALIAN TEAMS. START NOT YET CERTAIN. British Wireless. RUGBY, August 22. It is understood that in the event of the Italian and French not competing after all in the Schneider Cup race on September 12, the British team will fly round the course at the highest speed attainable in the new machines, which it is expected will considerably exceed last year's speed. However, although the intentions of the Italian and French are still unknown, strong hopes are held at Calshot that both countries will be represented. It is anticipated that a final deqision cannot be delayed much longer, and probably will be reached at tho week-end Tile funeral of Lieutenant Brinton took place to-day. The inquest yesterday was adjourned, after formal evidence had been given, pending a report after a special inquiry into the cause of the accident to the seaplane which crashed in the Solent.
