LONG ROAD CYCLE RACE.
OTAGO CENTRE'S PLANS. [CT TELBSBJjgg.—OWX COSEESPOKDESTT. ] DUNEDIN, Saturday. The course for the New Zealand amateur 100-mile road cycling championship has been approved by the Otago Centre. Provided the permission of the Forbury Park Trotting Club can be obtained,_ the race will start at Forbury Park, the riders proceeding to Balclutha and back to circle the" Forbury racecourse before the finish is reached. This event is being held on October 3, and the cycling sub-committee of the Otago Centre is now engaged in drawing up the prize list for the race, in which a* good deal of interest is being evinced.
