WEEK-END ATTRACTIONS.
REPRESENTATIVE FOOTBALL. RUGBY AND LEAGUE MATCHES. A representative Rugby football match botween Hawke's Bay and Auckland will take placo at Eden Park this afternoon. A game between the New Plymouth High School and the Auckland Grammar School will be played as a " curtain-raiser." There will also bd a contest between the Rotorua High School and the Grammar second fifteen. Teaijig in the Pollard Gup competition will meet at various grounds The principal Loiguc game at Carlaw Park will be the Northern Union Cup match between South Auckland and North Auckland. At the Blandford Park Association grounds North Shore and Celtic will be matched in a Falcon Cup fixture, and senior ehampionfihip games will be played. Club golf championships will be proceeded with by the Titirangi, Glendowie, Pupuke and Everslie Clubs. Various competitions will take place at the other courses. Other sports fixtures include athletic events, harrier runs, cycling races and basketball contests. The picture theatres will offer splendid entertainment, and there will be dancing at the different cabarets in the evening.
