CONCLUSION OF CONFERENCE. TRIBUTE TO MR. G. FINN. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PEESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Friday. Mr. G. Finn, of Auckland, who to-day concluded his term of office as president of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation, was presented with a gold watch in recognition of his services to the federation during the year. The presentation was made at the close of the annual conference by the incoming president, Mr. J. T. Spears, who is also president of tho Wellington Manufacturers' Association, Mr. Spears said the past year had been an exceedingly difficult one and the affiliated associations recognised the energy Mr. Finn had shown in looking after the interests of manufacturers. Discussion on the question of the location of the next conference was left in the hands of tho president and the executive.
