Tho Whangarei County Council recently decided to liavo about three miles of the Whangarei-Maungatapero highway tarsealed, and tenders for tho work weio called. A tender has now been accepted for tho work at a price of £3556. 'lho successful tenderer is Messrs. Gooscmnn and Company.
