MAN FOUND HANGING.
OPENING OF THE INQUEST.
An inquest into the death of Duncan Dean, aged 31, married, of Nikau Street, Onehunga, whose body was found with a gunshot wound in the head, hanging from a rafter in a shed on the property of his father at Onehunga on Friday, was opened, by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., on Saturday. Evidence of identification was given by James Harold Dean, labourer, of Onehunga, brother of deceased. He said that four or five months ago he had spoken with deceased, who was then in financial difficulties. He was a man given to worrying more than the average person. The inquest was adjourned until tomorrow.
