NORTHCOTE AFFAIRS.
The Northcote borough overseer, Mr. J. E. Mays, reported to the local council last evening that the Main Highways Board's inspector had approved of. the surfacing of the Onewa and Lake Roads with maintenance scoria. 1 A committee was appointed to confer with the Auckland Harbour Board with regard to the terms for the proposed lease by the' council of Onepoto Basin,. Shoal Bay.
