(Received July 14, 12.15 a.m.) LIVERPOOL. July 13. The New Zealand cricketers to-day resumed their match against Lancashire at Liverpool. When stumps were drawn on Saturday the New Zealanders in their first innings had made 410 runs for nine wickets, James (10) being tho not out man, with Merritt still to bat. Lowry declared the innings closed this morning and sent the county in to bat. The weather was fine, but the wicket was somewhat dead after rain yesterday. Hallows and Horrocks opened Lancashire's first innings. They batted attractively, and at the luncheon adjournment had taken the score to 84 without being separated. In connection with the recently published dates for the two additional test matches between New Zealand and England, the Cricket Board of Control has decided upon the following fixtures: —At Manchester, July 29; at the Oval, August 15.
