DARING PARACHUTIST.
FEAT PERFORMED FOR BET.
BRISBANE. July 13
A parachutist, Mr. J. A. Milne, descended 3000 ft. from an aeroplane in two minutes. In order to win a wager he fell 1000 ft. before he released the cord 6f the parachute.
