The Directors of the above Company have declared an Interim Dividend for the halfyear ended June 30 last at the rate of 8 per cent, per annum on the Fully-paid Shares, and a proportionate amount on tho Contributing Shares, payable on the 29th inst. The Directors have decided to make reactions in prices to the extent of £14,000 per annum, thus passing on to the public the full extent of the cut. A reduction in the price of gas of 3d per 1000 cubic feet beyond the first 1000 cubic feet consumed per month on each meter will be made as from August 1 next. The reduction will be effected by increasing the discount allowed to consumers, as shown on their accounts. Retail prices of coke are reduced by 10s per ton. , E. W. ASHTON, • Secretary. To Validate Deed of Agreement entered into between The Auckland Harbour Board and the Corporation of the Auckland City with regard to the respective rights and liabilities of the parties thereto in connection with the Orakei AVaterfront Road. 2. To Validate Deed of Agreement entered into between the Corporation of the Auckland City and The Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board with regard to "the construction of part of the Orakei ■ Waterfront Rond over and upon the Sewage Tanks in Orakei Bay. 3. To authorise The Auckland Harbour Board to transfer to the Corporation of tho Auckland City, for the purpose of Plantation Reserve, an area of approximately two and one-half acres at the junction of Orakei Waterfront Road and North Island Main Trunk Railway in Ilobson Bay. •1. To authorise The Auckland Harbour Board to lease to The Auckland ElectricPower Board Part Lot 1, Block 21. Mechanics Bay Reclamation, as a site for extensions to Power Station. 5. To authorise The Auckland Harbour Board to lease to tho Corporation of the Norfhcoto Borough, for recreation purposes, Ouepoto Basin, in Shoal Bay. comprising approximately forty-four and one-half acres. 6 To authorise the Corporation of tho lakapuna Borough to lease to The Auckland Harbour Board, for the purpose of a Control Station for Rangitoto Beacon, an area of land at the seaward end of St, Leonard's Koad, in the Borough of Takapuna. Copies of the said Bill and Plans of the said Lands are now open to Public Inspection at the Office of the Magistrate's Court and the Office of The Auckland Harbour Board, in the City of Auckland.
