NON-STOP TO TOKIO.
FRENCHMEN LEAVE PARIS. ATTEMPT ON RECORD FLIGHT. ■ • : • (Received July 12, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, July 12. Messrs. Lebrix and Doret, flying the famous aeroplane Trait d'Union, took off at 4.45 a.m. to-day from Le Bourget in an attempt to fly non-stop to Tokio. The airmen hope to beat the single flight record of Captain Coste and M. Bellonte of more than 5000 miles, from Paris to Taitiakhar, Manchuria, done in September, 1929.
