SOVIET CLEMENCY.
SENTENCED MEN PARDONED. (Received July 12, 7.5 p.m.) RIGA. July 11. The Soviet has granted an amnesty to the engineers and technicians who were sentenced to long terms of imprisonment at the recent famous mass trial at Moscow, and at other recent trials. The men have been granted certificates of merit and bonuses for good work done while under arrest, which resulted in improvements to aircraft, and in other directions. i
