THIRTY POUNDS STOLEN.
THIEF IN A BEDROOM. A sum of £3O, contained in a handbag, was stolen from the house of Mr. H. F. Rae, in Abbotsford Street, Newmarket, last week. The money represented the receipts taken during the day at a skating rink, of which Mr. Rae is the manager. Mr. Rao states that he took the money from the rink to* his house shortly after 10 p.m. The bag was placed in his bedroom near tho bed. On the following morning there was no sign of the bag or its contents. No sound was heard by Mr. Rae during the night.
