Rakwool's victory was achieved in the easiest fashion. Ho outjumped, outstayed and outpaced his rivals from tho start. He took the lead shortly after the start and at one stage was 40 lengths head of the others. The result was never in doubt. Rakwool won by 20 lengths, with 1} lengths between second and third. King's Knave finished in front of Kingswny and Shanigar after running two furlongs in 265. ■ There was very little between Aspian 'and Limeen at the end of four furlongs in 5315. Although Aspian stretched out in fine stxje. jit.was obvious (hat he had a lot in hand at the finish, and should be a three-year-old above the ordinary next season. ; ' Loombination, by Illumination from Principal Lady,-and the Musketoon—Sibford youngster shaped well in a short sprinf down the straight; •Pukerimu bowled along .over a round without being extended at any stage of the journey. Tho last four furlongs took 695. Hoihoma moved freely over three furlongs in 40s. This filly is making good progress and may soon be-ready to race. Miss Linley, who had the better of the jump-off, led the Chief Ruler—Seagull two-year-old over two furlongs in.26s. Miss Liuley showed a good burst of speed.
