0 MAORI WOMAN IN COURT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN COIVRESPONBEK«r. ] THAMES, Saturday. Following investigations into the disappearance ot articles from clothes lines, money from milk jugs and other thefts, the police Jast evening arrested a Maori woman named Mona Macdonald, and this morning she was charged before Mr. F. H. Claxton, J.P., with the theft of various articles. The polico asked for a remand and stated there- was a large quantity of clothes and sundries at the polico station awaiting identification. •> A remand was granted, bail being allowed in self £SO, and one surety of £SO.
