SOUTH AUCKLAND AFFAIRS. [FilOlt OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT* ] ' - , / . HAMILTON, Friday. The annual, meeting of the South Auckland Caledonian Society was held last evening, Mr, J", S. Fagefc presiding over an attendance of about 40 members. Tho annual roport stated that tho. past year's activities were not as satisfactory as those of the previous year, but notwithstanding this, the year had been one of useful activity. There had been a net loss of £157, which had reduced the accumulated funds to £517.
The following officers were elected : Patron, Mr. O. L. MacDiarmid; chief, Mr. J. S. Paget; chieftains,-. Messrs. J., T. Reid, W. Coutts, ,T. B. Grant; pipemajor, Mr. S. Clothier 1 ; treasurer, Mr. W. Miller; .committee, Messrs. C. R. Smith, R. Gilmore, J. Graham, N. Sorenson, G. MacKenzie, L. Cameron, T. C. Mac Donald., > . ,
